GemStone Support for VFabric and other products moving to VMware Global Support Services (GSS)

To file a Support Request for select vFabric and WaveMaker products (noted below), log in to the VMware web site (https://www.vmware.com/support/policies/howto.html), and once a valid support contract is confirmed, you will be connected to the VMware standard case tracking system.  To request a quote to renew your support contract, you can fill out a contract renewal form athttp://www.vmware.com/support/form/contract_renewal.html.

This move does not affect support for the GemStone Smalltalk family of products, Facets, and GemFire RTE.  Continue to use this system to request help for these products.

The following products are now supported using the VMware web site (see https://www.vmware.com/support/policies/howto.html):

  • VMware vFabric™ Enterprise Ready Server
  • VMware vFabric™ Hyperic
  • VMware WaveMaker
  • VMware vFabric™ GemFire
  • VMware vFabric RabbitMQ™
  • VMware vFabric tc Server™
  • VMware Web Server
  • Open Source Projects

The changes do not affect the following VMware products; continue to use http://techsupport.gemstone.com to log Support Requests for these products:

  • GemStone/S 32 bit
  • GemStone/S 64 bit
  • GemBuilder for Smalltalk (Visualworks)
  • GemBuilder for Smalltalk (Visualage)
  • GemBuilder for Java
  • GemStone Facets
  • GemFire RTE (Real Time Events)
  • GemConnect for Oracle
  • Support Only for VMware GemStone/S

GemStone is committed to providing you the highest quality of technical support. As part of that commitment, we have built this site to provide quick and easy answers to your questions. Whether you are new to GemStone, or a seasoned veteran, many of your questions can be answered by the information provided in these pages. If you don't find what you are looking for, we provide the means for asking our experts and your fellow users.

You can submit help requests or review your existing help requests using the tabs at the top of this page. You can also submit new requests by sending an email to techsupport@gemstone.com. Initiating a help request via email can be less efficient since the request may have to be manually dispatched to the proper product group.
